My name is Till and I was born and raised in Braunschweig, Germany. I started playing drums at the age of three and played my first professional gig at the age of nine. I also began to study classical piano at the age of six. Through my teens, I continued to play in several high school and cover bands in my hometown.
I had the privilege of studying with Benny Greb, Jost Nickel and Stephan Emig and after graduating high school, I attended the Los Angeles College of Music in Pasadena. While and after pursuing my Associates of Arts Degree in Drum Performance, I worked with renowned musicians such as Allen Stone, James Valentine (Maroon 5), Ralph Humphrey (Frank Zappa, Dancing with the Stars), Steve Porcaro (Toto, Michael Jackson), Art Alexakis (Everclear), David Garfield (Boz Scaggs), Denny Dias (Steely Dan) and more.
Before my arrival in Los Angeles, I performed and recorded with several singer-songwriter and pop/rock artists in Germany including Ricky Lawson (Michael Jackson, Stevie Wonder) and Alex Knolle (Cassandra Steen). I also won the nationwide competitions "Jugend Musiziert" and the "DrumHeads!!-Playalong Contest".
I was a founding member of the pop/rock band and Grammy Amplifier Contest winner Bonavox, who were embarking on a West Coast tour with Allen Stone and performed at events including SXSW, Fun Fun Fun Festival, Snapchat, the NAMM Show, ASCAP Expo and Billboard Power 100.
I currently work with a diverse roster of artists of all genres in and around Los Angeles, including The Voice Germany winner Julian Martel, pop artists Alxxa, Emily Vaughn, french jazz and chanson singer Jessica Fichot, world music group Within and many more.
